CTF funding programs

CTF funding supports construction apprentices, employers, and workers in Western Australia. We collect a 0.2% levy on building projects within the state, which lets us invest back into construction careers.

Our funding programs focus on building a skilled construction workforce, ensuring quality training is affordable and accessible for current and aspiring construction professionals. Expand your future, explore career pathways, and be part of one of Australia's biggest industries.

From employer support programs to apprenticeship accommodation allowances, you might be eligible for valuable CTF funding that could give you the leg-up you need.

Employer Grant

The Employer Grant provides financial support to construction employers in WA hiring apprentices. CTF offers up to $26 000 to eligible businesses to help offset on-the-job training and mentorship.

Upskilling and Short Course Funding

WA construction apprentices, employers, or workers could be eligible for up to 80% training cost cover if you complete an approved short course through a registered training organisation.

Apprentice Completion Grant

A one-off payment to eligible construction apprentices or trainees, aiming to encourage students to complete their training.

Civil Construction Pilot Program

This $5.996 million dollar program is aimed at addressing the wage gap caused by nine existing traineeships transitioning into apprenticeships.

CTF supporting industry

CTF’s ‘we love a job done well’ campaign aims to bring awareness to our funding and resources. We recognise the amount of dedication and skill it takes to succeed in construction trades. Our commitment to apprentice training and employer support demonstrates the value we place on accessible construction education and funding.

A sustainable workforce is part of the reason we get to enjoy amazing buildings and structures in our everyday lives. Through this campaign, we hope to inspire construction curiosity.

Whether you’re a young WA resident interested in career pathways, an employer looking to support apprentices, or a seasoned worker looking to upskill, CTF is passionate about providing avenues for success. Explore the wider range of support you could be eligible for through CTF’s funding.
