Term two saw the Construction Futures Centre (CFC) come alive with visitors from industry, schools and some of the new scholarship program students. So far this year we have had approximately 1,100 visitors.

In term three we are looking forward to welcoming Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School as part of their Year 8 Science camp, Ngaanyatjarra Lands School and Year 9 students from Mount Lawley Senior High School.

We have had a fantastic response so far this year from schools that have not been to the CFC since it opened and would like to extend an invitation to Primary Schools.  The CFC is open for students from Year 5 through to Year 12 and we are happy to cater to the needs of the group.

For the remainder of Semester two (or until it runs out), CTF has released a bus rebate initiative for schools that make a new booking to the Centre. Schools that are eligible will receive a rebate of $150 per group after their visit to the CFC.  To find out if your school is eligible please contact CTF today.

There are still some sessions available for Term three, if you would like to make a booking please send an email to Melissa Paxman at cfc@ctf.wa.gov.au or call (08) 9244 0166. Or if you prefer you may book via the online booking form here.
