It doesn’t take much for a small flame to spread and become a major risk to life and property. As legislation becomes increasingly stringent to ensure safety for the occupants and users of buildings, so the job of the Fire Sprinkler Systems Installer is becoming more important and more complex.
Sprinkler system fitters install and repair fire-protection sprinkler systems, usually in industrial and commercial buildings such as factories, hospitals, office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings and airports. They must understand the variety of water, foam, carbon dioxide and dry chemical sprinkler and fire protection systems developed by different manufacturers, and interpret protection system designs for onsite installation, operation and maintenance.
