Western Australia’s building industry is a competitive market. If you want a career in construction, it’s essential to equip yourself with the right skills and qualifications. At Construction Training Fund, our aim is to provide support for a safe, skilled and sustainable workforce.
Access skills and qualifications with our construction worker support. We can help you through:
All approved courses support the skills required in a contemporary construction industry. You could receive a rebate of up to 80% of the total cost upon successful completion. To qualify, short courses must be offered by Registered Training Organisations and listed under our Upskilling and Short Course Funding Program.
CTF has created a $3.5 million program to support communities re-building after the Wooroloo bushfires and Cyclone Seroja.
It’s estimated more than 1,400 dwellings have been affected by these events, with an expected re-build timeframe of four years. The grant funding provides construction worker support, as well as subsidies for employers involved throughout the re-build process. This support helps to stimulate the community for a faster recovery and is designed to improve long term prosperity.
RPL recognises the skills and knowledge you’ve gained in previous work and life experiences to get a formal qualification.
The RPL process can match your existing, relevant skills against the learning outcomes of your chosen course. When you successfully complete an approved course, you may be eligible to claim up to $400 towards the cost of assessment.
