Construction VET Connect brings school VET, career and workplace learning staff together with Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) and construction industry members for practical conversations about construction pathways, training and the transition into industry.
Delivered online via video link for one hour once per school term, each session focuses on a relevant construction training or workforce topic, with time for participants to ask questions, raise issues and hear directly from people with experience across construction and training.

What to expect
Sessions will focus on practical topics relevant to supporting construction VET and pathways, including:
- construction occupations and training pathways
- work readiness and transitions into the workplace
- apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships and other entry pathways
- VET and workplace learning in construction
- insights from construction training and industry
- current construction workforce and training developments
- questions and issues being raised by schools
Each session will also include an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the construction VET and pathway issues relevant to your students and school.

The CITC and invited construction industry and training representatives. Participants will vary depending on the topic and focus of each session.
