CTF Skills Innovation Grant 2025-26

Empowering industry to innovate

Construction Training Fund (CTF) has launched the CTF Skills Innovation Grant , an investment in fresh ideas to support the Building and Construction industry in Western Australia.

Over the next three years, $1.5 million in funding will be provided through the program to support businesses to deliver innovative projects that help build the workforce that builds WA.

Through this program, CTF will invest in practical, industry-led initiatives that lift the quality of training and help grow the pipeline of skilled workers in the building and construction industry.

Applications for the program’s 2025-26 funding round are now open, and close Friday 30 January 2026 at 5:00pm AWST.

Purpose of the Skills Innovation Grant

The Skills Innovation Grant program gives industry the opportunity to design and deliver projects in areas that matter most to WA’s construction workforce.

Funding will be prioritised for initiatives that align with one or more of the program’s priority areas:

  • Emerging Digital and Technology Requirements in Skills Development;
  • Attraction and Retention of a Skilled Construction Workforce; and
  • Innovation in Training.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate how their proposed projects will improve training outcomes and increase the number of skilled workers in the building and construction industry.
