The Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) is seeking insights from across Western Australia's construction sector on industry developments, workforce trends and skills training.
The CITC is Western Australia’s recognised industry training advisory body for the building and construction sector. Through consultation and engagement with industry, we provide advice on workforce development and training priorities to help ensure training pathways remain aligned with the needs of industry.
Whether you’re noticing workforce shortages, changing industry demand, training challenges, new opportunities, or other developments impacting the construction workforce, we’d like to hear from you.
The information shared will help inform workforce planning, training initiatives and industry reporting activities, ensuring our understanding of industry conditions reflects what’s happening on the ground.
Who should participate in this survey?
We’re interested in hearing from WA construction sector representatives including:
- employees, employers and business owners
- registered training organisations and group training organisations
- industry bodies, associations and unions.
We’re interested in hearing about:
- workforce trends and skills shortages
- changes in industry demand or activity
- training delivery opportunities and challenges
- emerging trends impacting the construction workforce; and
- other workforce, skills or industry developments relevant to the sector.
