Making a Claim

You may be eligible if you’re training a future construction industry employee or have updated your skills.

Construction Training Fund makes payments to employers to offset the cost of taking on an apprentice or trainee.

We also support short-training courses through the CTF Supplementary Skills Program; we support recognition of prior learning for building and construction training qualifications and, in some cases, we pay an accommodation allowance.

For a complete picture of the incentives and wage subsidies on offer if you hire an apprentice or trainee, you can find our funding details here.

Before you make a claim, you need to make sure you can give us the proof we need to approve your claim. Depending on your claim, the information we need can include receipts or paid invoices, copies of certificates or statements of attainment, your employer’s email address, your work history with specific site details and a declaration from you that the information you supply is true.

If you are employing an apprentice or trainee directly, known as “direct indenture”, you will need to contact us direct on inquiries@ctf.wa.gov.au.

For other claims or if you are claiming for short course training, please use the CTF Portal.

The User Registration Guide is here and the How to Make a Claim Process Guide is here.

If you need assistance using the portal, please email inquiries@ctf.wa.gov.au or call 08 9244 0100. We’re here to help
