  • Construction Industry Apprentice Council

The Construction Industry Apprentice Council (CIAC) is a CTF-led voluntary advisory group formulated to provide apprentices within the Western Australian building and construction industry with a direct voice in shaping their training and workplace experiences.

CIAC members will meet four times annually (a Teams link will be provided for regional-based apprentices and those unable to join in person). Participation is voluntary and members are not required to attend every session.

Why get involved?

Participation in the CIAC will allow WA building and construction apprentices to:

  • share experiences and ideas
  • build networks and connect with industry and other apprentices
  • raise concerns and influence change; and
  • provide feedback that could help inform future support strategies from CTF and key industry bodies
