VET Programs and Support

Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are designed to help high school students transition to work or other vocational and higher education pathways.

Another entry point into the industry are construction and building industry VET courses completed during full-time WA Certificate of Education study that are completed independently of our specifically crafted scholarships program, through a TAFE or another registered pre-apprenticeship program.

You can apply for a Construction Training Fund $250 Pre-Apprenticeship Award for Certificate II qualifications in:

  • Certificate II Building and Construction – Trades Pathway (52893WA)
  • Certificate II Building and Construction (Pathway – Para Professional) (52825WA)
  • Certificate II Civil Construction (RII20715)
  • Certificate II Plumbing (52700WA)
